Whether you’re tidying up after your kids or dealing with an unexpected spill, keeping your bathroom floor free from hair can be a challenge. With the right tools and techniques, however, you can quickly and easily keep your home clean and safe. Here are some tips on how to eliminate hair from your bathroom floor.
## Vacuum Regularly
Vacuuming your bathroom regularly is the best way to keep it free from hair. A strong vacuum cleaner will suck up all the hair on the floor in no time. If you have carpets in your bathroom, use a vacuum designed for carpets to ensure a thorough clean. When vacuuming, make sure to move furniture or any objects that are on the floor to ensure that every inch of the floor is vacuumed.
## Use a Mop
Mops are particularly effective at picking up pet hair and other debris from tiled floors. Look for one that has a microfiber cloth head so it can pick up even the finest hairs. Before using a mop, use a dustpan and brush to sweep away any larger chunks of debris first. Then, simply dampen the mop head with warm water and start mopping in small circles. Make sure to rinse out the mop head every few minutes so it doesn’t become clogged with hair.
## Use Tape
Tape is great for picking up pet hair from carpeted floors or rugs. Simply press a piece of duct tape onto the surface of the carpet and then pull it back up again. The tape will attract and collect all the pet hair so it can be thrown away in the trash. Alternatively, you can use masking tape for this task as well.
## Invest in an Air Purifier
Air purifiers are great for purifying the air in your bathroom and removing any floating pet hairs or other particles. Look for an air purifier that has HEPA filters as these are especially effective at trapping particles as small as 0.3 microns in size – including pet dander, dust mites, and other allergens.
## Use a Lint Roller
Lint rollers are another great tool for collecting pet hairs from carpets or rugs. Simply roll the lint roller over the surface of the carpet and it will pick up all the pet hairs quickly and easily. For best results, use a new lint roller every time you clean your bathroom floor.
## Rinse with Squeegee
Using a squeegee is another effective way of removing pet hairs from tiled floors. Just add some warm water to the floor and then use a squeegee to wipe it down – this will dislodge any hair that’s stuck to the tiles and remove it quickly and easily.
Keeping your bathroom floor free from hair isn’t always easy, but with these tips you can keep your home clean and safe in no time at all. Invest in some quality cleaning tools such as a vacuum cleaner, mop, lint roller, air purifier, and squeegee and you’ll soon have a sparkling clean bathroom floor that’s free from hair!
